About the Illustrator…. Najah Clemmons resides just outside of Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband, two daughters and their two dogs, where she enjoys beach walks and southern air. She has illustrated a variety of children’s books over the past 14 years and is also the co-owner of ‘Sugar Pea Studios’ design company with her husband. Najah Clemmons says, “Even as a child, I loved to draw. Now I feel blessed that I get to do what I love most.”
